Hello Everyone!
Your crew member Brenda Sue here.
Distress call to all of my empaths out there!!! How are you doing? I can tell you one thing for sure, this empath is struggling. Even if you don’t watch the news 24/7 and you try not to get caught up in the chaos around us right now, you still feel the collective OUCH of the planet right now. How did we get to this point and where is that wonderful Age of Aquarius that we long for?
One of our soul family members suffered a severe loss this week and with our heart connection, we are all feeling pain. When one of us suffers, we all suffer. Whether that be someone close to us or people in the larger collective. I had a client this week who is struggling with life and as soon as I put my hands on her I started crying. So many of us are going through a “dark night of the soul” journey right now. Our post-Covid world is different, the world is on fire, the energy of control wishes to lock its talons around us. Unfortunately there is no spiritual bypass. We must go through this process, burning like a phoenix, but still, we will rise.
So, how do we navigate these waves of emotion? How do we stay centered in our hearts and present in our lives? Honestly, I’m not 100% sure. As I was sitting down to write this, I was watching a hummingbird on the feeder. It was like it saw me looking at it and it flew to the window. It hovered in the window for at least a minute. Duh, of course this is a message from my helpers on the other side. So, I get my book out and look up the hummingbird. The card talks about finding joy. Looking for joy in the small things. It also says that we should follow our bliss because happiness spreads like wildfire. It says that it isn’t about the destination but about the journey. So, thanks to the hummingbird, I will be reminded to look for the small joys in life. When we put all of the small joys together they fill more and more moments with happiness and then we can spread that to others, like the ripples on a lake. Hang in there my empathic friends! We will persevere! ☺
To end this newsletter. I want to share a funny story with you. We had a podcast episode (Ep. 7 – Cool Yule) where we talked about traditions. I told the story of the tradition of my aunt who buys me panties for my birthday, along with some religious pamphlets. I love her and she is so sweet, I’m not making fun of it, but it gave me a chuckle this week when I received my birthday gift this year. Yes, it did include the religious pamphlets, and the token panties…lol…and a most fantastic hat! I think I officially have pictures of everyone wearing said hat. Hahahaha…..It literally reminds me of the pictures you see of psychic mediums staring into their crystal ball. I am including a picture of me in this fantastic hat, heck, I figured if Aaron could look all cute in his Derby hat then I could flaunt my new hat. I really wish I could share the picture of my partner Mike wearing the hat because it was fantastic. Alas, you shall get me in all of my crystal ball, no makeup, silly making splendour.
I hope this adds a little chuckle to your day and a small moment of joy. So blessed to be on this journey with all of you. Be silly, look for ways to be filled with wonder and joy.
Love to you all!
